“Typical bold, generous style of Clemens Hill” – James Halliday
Clemens Hill Pinot Noir Reserve 2010 is a generous, full flavoured and rich Pinot, with all the richness Clemens Hill is know for. An award winner, as well as excellent scores from James Halliday and Huon Hooke. Cherry and chocolate give this vintage a real charm with excellent cellaring potential. Sourced only from our “B” Block at Clemens Hill vineyard, that are the oldest vines on the property, with four years of bottle ageing prior to release.
“Subdued, chocolate, rich nose. Oaky and slightly blockish. Rich, soft, round, cuddly palate. Again chocolatey and quite tannic.”

Critics Reviews and Scores
Typical bold, generous style of Clemens Hill; a multi-layered, supple palate with highly expressive varietal fruit in a black and red cherry spectrum.
Score: 94 Points
Dusty, earthy, mineral, edgy. Ironstone and leather. Big, full-bodied, rich and gutsy. A powerful, full-throttle pinot. Big, dense wine. Lots of fruit on the palate. Just lacks a little charm and pinosity, but a very good savoury, not-so-fruity style.
Score: 95 Points
Rank: #3 of Pinot Noir in Tasmania, 2010
Lovely varietal purity and fruit sweetness and a touch of spice good acidity silky full-bodied tannins make for a delicious wine.
Score: 88 Points
Cherries and spice on the nose with concentrated dark cherries and plums on the palate. The fine tannins provide a silky coat that carries through to a sweet berry finish.
